Four Interesting Facts about Narcissists.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a fascinating personality disorder.
I often have clients come in and want to know if they are in a relationship with a narcissist or if a loved one is suffering from this disorder.
So I decided to share some interesting facts about narcissists.
1. They don’t know how to give empathy. They insist on receiving it, but they will never give it unless it is in an effort to manipulate someone.
2. Another thing about empathy is that the part in their brain responsible for empathy actually atrophies by about the age of 20. This means they are now hardwired to not be able to give genuine empathy.
3. Narcissists are able to dish out criticism and judgment but are completely unable to handle it if they receive it.
4. They are unable to forgive and forget.
