Quick Fix to Improve Your Mood


Many of my clients ask me for the “magic pill” or the “crystal ball” to help them better their lives.

There is something even easier and more “real” than those two things. It is being grateful!

When you are upset or anxious or experiencing any uncomfortable mood, quickly think of three things you are grateful for.

Being grateful can instantly elevate your mood and help you focus on what is going right in your life rather than what is going wrong at the present moment.

Common things to be grateful for are:

  1. Waking up today
  2. Putting you key in the ignition and having your car start
  3. Flipping on the light switch and having power
  4. Having food in your fridge
  5. Having a comfortable bed
  6. Having a/c (especially here in Florida!)
  7. Having running water


You get the picture.  We often take the little things for granted. Going back to appreciating the little things can work wonders on your mood and outlook on life!
